 WHEN: Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 10am to 1pm 
WHERE: Village Hall, 1900 Hassell Rd.

This year’s seminar is a shooting session where the participant will use their camera to photograph subjects of their choice. Subject matter can be anything of interest to the participant, such as flowers, statues, books, toys, etc. The seminar will start with a discussion of white balance, and exposure, depth of field and file type.

Suggested Equipment:
  • DSLR or Mirrorless Camera
  • Tripod (if you do not have one, one will be available)
  • Lens with a range of 50 to 100 mm. (for example a 50 – 200 mm or 24 – 105 mm)
  • Cable release (if you don’t have one, the camera self-timer will suffice.)
Provided setup areas:
  • Seamless backgrounds of black and white will be provided with a minimum width of 24 inches.
Lighting will be provided with types:
  • LED
  • Incandescent
  • Flash
  • Grey card
