ABOUT SUMMER SOUNDS ON THE GREEN

Summer Sounds on the Green brings great music to the Village Green in Hoffman Estates on select Thursdays during the summer months. The music varies from rock, pop, soul, big band, country, and more! The venue, located just across the street from the NOW Arena, provides a Ravinia-like experience with a large lawn area that offers plenty of space for concert-goers to set up foldable chairs and picnic areas.


Bring a picnic! Coolers, food, drinks, chairs, blankets, small tables, and almost anything else are allowed for you to enjoy the concert. Seating is first come, first serve so come out early and find a spot to enjoy the evening. Food and beverage is for sale on the premises! 

WHERE IT HAPPENS

Located just across the street from the NOW Arena, the Village Green provides music lovers with a Ravinia-like experience. The stage is surrounded by an abundance of grassy areas where you can set up your lawn chairs, coolers and blankets.

WHEN IT STARTS

All concerts start at 7PM and typically run two hours. It is recommended to arrive early to allow time to park and set up your spot on the green.

HANDICAPPED PARKING INFO

A dedicated handicapped parking lot is available for every show and includes complimentary golf cart transportation to and from the venue.

  • What time do the concerts start?

    Should there be weather that in any way threatens the safety of anybody in attendance, we will cancel the event. Go to this website and the Village of Hoffman Estates social media pages to find out if the event is cancelled.

  • Is there handicap parking available?

    Yes. There is a designated handicap parking lot for those who have placards. Additionally, on site volunteers offer complimentary golf cart transportation from the handicap lot to the venue and back. To learn more, visit our venue information page.

  • What amenities are located at the venue?

    Attendees get access to the lawn space that surrounds the venue. There are several free parking lots to choose from. 


    Additionally, the Hideaway Brew Garden is adjacent to the Village Green and serves up a variety of food, drink and alcoholic beverage options for purchase. The Brew Garden is a cashless venue, so bring a credit card along if you'd like to purchase food or beverages. 


    Bathrooms are located on site.


    For handicapped attendees, there is complimentary golf cart transportation to and from the handicapped parking lot.

  • How loud does it get?

    The Village Green position a majority of its speakers up closer to the stage. If you want it to be loud, we encourage you to sit up closer to the stage or just beyond the first sidewalk. 


    If you prefer a quieter experience, we recommend sitting farther away from the stage and up the hill.

    Yes! The Village Green is a Ravinia-like experience. Many in attendance bring their own chairs, tables, blankets and other picnic accessories.
